New York J & P Pizza: Authentic Italian Flavors in Frederick, MD

To whoever thought up the idea of what should be on the southern chicken salad who hurt you. Why did you have to put olives on a southern chicken salad. Everything was great then bam secret black olive town I wouldn't have ever thought to have told someone "hey you know that southern chicken salad the one that is made like you wanted salad but instead stumbled into a KFC ya make sure there aren't any black olives on there". The rest of the food was great and the kids meals gave enough food we can feed the little ones again for lunch they are like a half serving. And my wife said the BLT was just what she was hoping for out of a blt, and really the salad was great also after taking one thing out.

Thomas was upbeat, attentive, quick to take care of anything needed. He provided great service and a pleasant dining experience. Favs are steak n cheese, chicken or veal piccata, wings, chicken salad wrap he makes an excellent espresso martini and margarita among other drinks.

We came here for a work party. They have a separate back room that we have used for the past few years. I had a toasted Italian sub. It was really well made, huge! The waitress was attentive and provided top tier service. My only complaint was that the back area was cold. We asked and the waitress tried to adjust the thermostat. This did not diminish the holiday spirit! The food was so good that I ordered dinner. My wife and I shared the rigatoni and I ordered the meat lovers pizza for my sons. There were 0 complaints. The garlic bread was amazing!!!

Extremely friendly staff and extremely attentive service! Their chicken piccata is phenomenal! I've also had pizza at many places but this is as close to true New York style pizza you can get in Maryland Period! Check out this place for great eats!

Top notch food here. Being from PA and working in a traditional pizza shop as a teen, this place reminds me of home. Since we have only done take out, we haven’t tried most of the menu yet (soon). However, almost everything we’ve had so far (wings, calamari, cheesesteak, and pizza) has been fresh and delicious! My only gripe is the fries are a bit meh. I may just have had a bad batch

A few of us went and most got pizza. Really looked delicious. Some had ravioli and also looked great. A little disappointed in my fish and chips. Over cooked fish but the atmosphere was fun.

After a small order debacle on the Superbowl, the owner reached out and let me know that was not their standards. I went back to try again on the first of March and had a complete 180 of my experience. I purchased their Tiramisu and it was phenomenal as well.

Mainly sit in the bar area but have also been in the dining area. Service and food are good and prices are reasonable. This is a nice Italian restaurant with a really good menu that includes American food also. Atmosphere is comfortable. Enjoy. A lot has changed since I wrote my review. J&P pizza in Spring Ridge has removed the 3/4 wall that separated the bar area from the dining area. They are making it much more open and more of a sports bar feel. They also added 10 new TV’s and the Sunday ticket, so I would say it’s pretty much a Sports Bar. Should be great for watching sporting events and just in time for football season. Also they are going to be opening early for breakfast with a great menu. The only problem is that they have hanging lights in what was the dining area and they block the view of the TVs from many of the seats, hopefully they will correct this issue soon.
